Living in the Northern Suburbs with his wife Michelle and 3 pups, Matthew is born and raised Launceston. With a heart for community and a passion for people, Matthew is heavily integrated into the Launceston municipality and also brings leadership experience with his current position as content director at LAFM/CHILLIFM.
Having performed around the country and represented the city around the world, Matthew has stepped up to represent the City Of Launceston and is honoured to be your Mayor.
Bringing a focus on communication and conversation, which isn't always just talking - it's also listening.
Special Committees: Community Grants (Organisations) Program, Event Sponsorship Assessment Panel, Launceston City Heart Reference Group, Northern Youth Coordinating Committee, Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery Governance Advisory Board, Youth Advisory Group.
